Hello AT,
I'm trying to find an extra long shower curtain -- 72x80 or so.
Are there any stores that do special orders or keep extra long shower curtains in stock?
Thanks, Nina

Indeed, Nina, the standard length is 72", and although liners come in extra long, it is hard to find longer curtains. We have no silver bullet, but we do have this link:
Natural Cotton Stripe Extra Long Fabric Shower Curtain
If you don't find what you want, you could also consider lowering the curtain from the rod by using two curtain hooks instead of one or using that supple metal chain (used to hold dog-tags) to hang from the curtain hook.
Anyone Else??

Though this post is 2 years old it has been very helpful in my recent quest for an extra long shower curtain. But I need help with one issue that has not been explained here.
I think I am going to go with purchasing pre-made curtain panels but here is my dilemma:
How do you hang your grommet/buttonhole shower curtain liner with a Rod Pocket Curtain without resorting to two shower curtain rods?
Do you know if anyone sells a "tulip and lily" extra long shower curtain? I need a shower curtain that is at least 78" long, but I've been unable to find an attractive looking one. Help please?
Looking for extra long shower curtains? Take a look at The Bath Collection by Legacy Linen Group. This is a line of extra long designer shower curtains for the upscale market. You can shop at www.legacylinengroup.com On Line Store: The Bath Collection. They're all 90" long - standard ceiling height is 96", so you get a custom look. Some have complimentary valances with beautiful tassel trims. Animal prints and novelty prints. They're FABULOUS!
Extra long shower curtain liners are available in stores and online. Extra long shower curtains can be made easily using a twin flat sheet with either the top or bottom hem already done for you as well as the selveged sides (one end will need to be hemmed in order to create the right length). It is the perfect width. Just make button holes across the top that align with the holes on the liner. I have even used the extra fabric for a valance, or for valance effect on the curtain itself. This is inexpensive and opens up a lot of options. The bedding industry has been foiling this of late with only selling sheet SETS. I used to make curtains from sheets also, but unless they are on a good sale or from a discounter this is no longer an easy cost effective project.
