Q: We are redoing our bathroom with white subway tile, a pedestal sink and gray glass accent tiles. So basically this image is what our new bathroom will look like. We LOVE the flooring in this picture from the Kohler website, has anyone seen anything like it out there? Thanks!

Editor: Kohler and Ann Sacks are owned by the same parent company — I'd start by looking at Ann Sacks. Does anyone have suggestions for a similar flooring for Kate?

Z2 iPod Dock and Wi...
Heath Ceramics
Shaw Tile
Some folks even take their 12x12 tiles to the wetsaw and cut them into narrow strips...
Is this it? http://annsacks.com/onlinecatalog/program.jsp?cat=268004&coll=268104&prg=1903304
Ann Sacks - Luxor Grey is really beautiful, but pricey.

Ann Sacks has other options as well.
It's a pricey option, but Heath Ceramics makes 3" x 12" tiles.
there are several companies now that are making porcelain tile that looks like hardwood flooring.
for example

(available in a 5x24) and it really does look pretty great.
If you get Heath, or any other handmade tiles, be sure you have an installer who knows how to work with them.
Last year, you could buy Hastings certain porcelain floor tiles for $12/sq ft - maybe they have something close to what you want. http://www.hastingstilebath.com/tileproducts.php?catid=67&prodid=480
I spent way too much time looking for 3x12 backsplash tiles before deciding to cut down the easily available 12x12s. You will get a cleaner cut on natural stone, but we used ceramic and it looks just fine. For flooring, you could cut down the 18" or 24" squares also.
I'm looking for the same tile, could be these:
Mazzari Soho, saw them at home depot.

Does anyone know where that shower guard came from?
I'd bet that is porcelain tile, so also try Porcelanosa, or Emser Tile.
Wayne Tile! I have larger scale in my kitchen and I love it:)
re first comment (cutting square tiles) -- this is exactly what my contractor did with slate tile, to carry out the visual effect of adjacent wood flooring strips. I don't know how hard it was (or not); it's beautiful.
Daltile ( www.daltile.com ) has a lot of those narrow tiles in lots of colors. Good luck with the reno.

Any local glass company can fabricate and install one for you.
I have very similar tile in the same color, which I purchased from Villeroy & Boch here in Miami. They have a great selection of tile.
This looks similar to a tile we used on a small reconstruction project. It's a glazed porcelain, which is inexpensive, green, and easy to install. The specification that we used is below. We got our tile from Nemo Tile for a really good price, but I'm sure there are other distributors and manufacturers with similar products.
Item: Avorio Cerato
Manufacturer: Sant' Agostino
Series: Pietre di Italia
Color/Item: Wenge
Dimensions: 4"x12" (also available in 6"x24")
We did not stagger the tiles, as shown in the photo. The result was a very clean and sophisticated look. Good luck on your renovation. Your bathroom is going to look great!
We are doing our tiny, narrow bathroom as well. We got our tiles from Watertown Tile and stone. Pics are on my blog Happy Renovations
Let me know what you think and hope it helps!
Try WaterWorks - 3"x18" Lagos Azul (Natural Stone)
Or Ann Sacks - Luxor gray 1 3/4"x17" (Natural Stone)
They look great also in Herringbone.
