This image from Domino (larger photo below) has long been the ideal bedroom I'd like to create. I'm looking for sources for the rug, the night stand, and the screen. Any suggestions?

the rug would be a cheap and easy diy
so would the screen...
Hi Lydia!
Check out the Blue & White Striped Rug from Rugs Direct

There is also a crushed bamboo screen at Studio D that is similar but taller:

As for the nightstand I would get car paint and paint the front drawers of a low profile nightstand in that green to get the hue your looking for!!

Great question, I have the same image filled away...that nightstand {and everything else} is fantastic...
how do you diy a rug?
I believe to DIY the rug you can buy a sisal or cheap solid cream/white colored rug from IKEA possibly, and then you would use tape to section off stripes to whatever width you like. You then use the paint of your choice and paint between the tape to create a stripe effect. Does that make sense?
Annie Selke's Dash and Albert Rug Company has lots of great striped rug options: dashandalbert.com
Maybe not exactly like the one pictured, but you can definitely find a blue-and-white combo.
Didn't Domino used to have the sources listed for pretty much everything in its images?
if they did, what issue was this? i want that hanging chair :)
I love this room as well and recognize it from the Domino book. I would not choose the beachy colors for my own home but I think the scale of the furnishings and use of texture is just right.
@Lydia: Have you found a source for the bed? I would like to find an upholstered bed of similar proportions. (Or at least find [a well documented] one to use as a case study and build my own!) Upholstered beds from the major retailers all seem to have a high back and recessed legs.
What about the bedspread?
For my own bedroom I keep flip-flopping between using a solid white bedspread with a bit more texture (like the Fill Matelasse by Matteo: http://www.matteohome.com/ ) or a subtle single-color pattern, like the one in your post.
The bedspread shown here reminds me of those used at the Hotel San Jose: http://www.sanjosehotel.com/#/rooms/ . I don't know the source for those either but maybe someone else does.
thanks for the diy advice! that makes sense!
The photo is from an article about Ione Skye's house. I'm sure that if you do a Google search, you can find all the sources. Like Jess2Nola, I also have the article filed away somewhere. Ione's then fiance was David Netto, a designer -- most of the design choices were his.
