Hello AT,
Searching high and low for an Indonesian teak bench (with Indonesian design, not "English style" made in Indonesia that's cheaper than the $1000 wanted at Hip & Humble Home in Chelsea. I need 5' to 6' and a depth of no more than 27" (20" is better). I've combed antique shops and seen other styles and discovered some in CA but shipping cancels the savings.
Thanks, Donna

Check out the Balinese Bench at Pier1.com. It's on sale for $498 right now.
I just purchased an Eames Lounger and Ottoman knock-
off and found that one of the buttons on the ottoman
is gone, and the other is about to come off. Also,
when the chair is put on the metal stand, it wobbles
and doesn't seem to be able to be tightened. Anyone
have any ideas of how I might get these two things
fixed? I live in the SF Bay Area, so the places in
Queens won't do me any good. Love the chair, and
would like to have it back in prime condition.
Take the money and go to Indonesia.

Check out ebay, see if you can find a dealer with good reviews. I ordered a chinese armoires from CA via ebay with great success, shipping was pricey ($190) but the combined cost was still much less than anything on the east coast.
