Anne sent in a good question: I am trying to decorate my 2 year old son’s bedroom in dinosaurs and am having a hard time with what to do with the walls. My husband didn’t want me to paint on the walls, so I made my own wall decals using contact paper and acrylic paint. I’m having trouble placing them on the walls. Any suggestions on how to make this room flow better? (another photo below)

It is a small room, 10x10, with cathedral ceilings, so the decals are looking “lost” with the massive wall space.
Please share your ideas with Anne in the comments...thanks!

I think you should find a place where they won't look like they are floating off into space. Maybe above the headboard of the bed? Maybe thinking of them as three framed pieces would help?
I love the idea of making your own, by the way. That never occurred to me, but now I'm going to have to look for a place to put some...
i would place them so they were walking on the headboard, myself. they are really small so i see how it does look like they are just floating away.
love the make your own idea!
I agree that the headboard would be a great place to ground these dinos. If you were feeling adventurous, you could paint the bottom 1/3 of the walls green to create a landscape for the dinos to frolic on.
Since you did such a nice job with the dinos, why not make them a background? Some dino-related kids' books might give you inspiration for how to place them in perspective with a grassy/ferny foreground, or against some volcanoes, something like that.
