I have a bathroom remodel looming and am about to replace my bathroom light/fan combo. The Panasonic WhisperLite comes highly recommended because it is quiet and energy efficient. Unfortunately, it just looks blah, especially for my 1927 house. Are there any bathroom fan/lights that do the job quietly and look good too?

Hmm, so it sounds to me like your presentation of the lamp is the problem, not the function. If it was me, I'd try and find a way to modify its appearance or create a visual distraction. Maybe a unique or colorful shade? or some sort of glass chandelier? Why replace it if it works fine? Especially when its energy efficient!
Check out Fantech.
My family remodeled our bathrooms last year, and we had the Energy Star Fluorescent Model installed.
I'm looking for one as well ... but unfortunately I also need it to be water proof so it can be installed in the shower stall.
I just had the same issue. I ended up with the least ugly option at the hardware store, but I can't say it is attractive. Sorry.
Aupu fans are the coolest ones I've seen at the shows with some in a brushed metal finish. You can buy them from Lightology online.....

Thanks for all the ideas! Balancing aesthetics, noise and function is a trick!
