I'm remodeling a 7 story apartment building in Chicago and am looking for someone to make some really bland looking hallways pop... in a modern "W-Hotels" sort of way. Can you suggest a designer to help our efforts? -Larry

Larry,
Have you seen the conversion of the old produce markets, University Commons?
I think their designer did a tremendous job in designing their lobbies. Really cool, modern and fun. Lots of different colors and textures and fun pieces.

I believe it is Borg design?
It could be a trainwreck, but it could also be amazing.. have you considered getting 7 different perspectives/artists to tackle each floor's hallway?
Designer Recommendation: Contact Sherry Koppel at sherrykoppeldesign@gmail.com (www.sherrykoppeldesign.com) to discuss your project.
You can also see her work at the Merchandise Mart's DreamHome. Her room is the screened-in porch.
Good luck with your search for the right designer!
