Kate is looking for some advice: My son Edison's nursery needs some help. I loved a quote from Dr. Seuss that I insisted be made into a vinyl decal and put on the wall above the crib. Now that it's there, even with a framed print from Etsy, I feel like the whole wall looks a little bare. On the wall opposite the crib, we hung some inexpensive shelves over a three-drawer dresser....

The shelves seem to be too small for the space we need them to fill and I have yet to come up with anything interesting or significant to put on them (though one of the pictures includes a lovely collection of ratty stuffed animals from my youth displayed on the center shelf). Generally speaking, both walls need a lot of help. Any ideas?

PS I consider myself pretty crafty and my husband is quite handy, so I'm open to suggestions that would require a little work.

Please share your ideas with Kate in the comments below...thanks!
