AT,
I'm in the process of remodeling my bathroom and want to replicate the clean look of this bathroom in Restoration Hardware's catalog. Does anyone have an idea on the kind of stone they use in the image?
I thought it was travertine but I'm not so sure anymore. Any help would be great!
Thanks!
Paul

Paul,
We have travertine in the bathroom of our rental. When we look at the close-up (see link above), it looks very much like our bathroom floor.
We had a lot of fun when we visited All Natural Stone, so we suggest going and checking out some tile and stone places to see your choices in person.
Anyone else?

It kind of looks like limestone to me, but photos can be deceiving.
I'd use the corporate contact phone number (the bottom one with the 415 area code) on their web site and ask them. You want to talk to the person in marketing who manages their catalog development, and s/he may pass you on to a stylist outside the company -- but someone should have an answer.
while you might want to replicate the "IDEA" of the look, why don't you go find something you like and that matches your interior .... a little individuality, guided by designers is usually better than copying a company or magazine.
I can't really tell from the picture. Have you ever been to Rome? If you've been to Rome, you know what travertine is. EVERYTHING in Rome is made of travertine.
i am pretty sure it's jerusalem stone....
