I live in Manhattan and I'm trying to find a worn leather banquette, perhaps from some dismantled french restaurant.

Where is the best place to look?

Hmmmmmmm. We would first hit up Craigslist and eBay with your keywords "leather banquette:"

Craigslist Furniture

eBay Furniture

And then we would check Sunday's Times, because that is where they list restaurant auctions.

Anyone else??
