Jemma sent us in this photo and a good question: In this pic, it looks like behind the table are thin, covered shelves. Clever storage! Now I need help finding this ... (Note: Include a pic of your problem and your question gets posted first.

...or something similar. Please help!
We really like the look of this - so sleek and visually unobtrusive in a small room. The very shallow depth and the fact that it looks like it may be hung on the wall make it very unusual. Any ideas for sources for this piece or something similar?

This was custom built storage cabinet for Eichler homes.
BTW- drive through any Eichler neighborhood in either nor cal or so cal - many people place these into their garage for storage during their remodels in the 70's.
That's a total DIY - or get a carpenter friend to make one for you.
We have an Ikea CD shelve that looks very similar to the one in the photo. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued.
These are technically shoe racks, but several of these from IKEA might work.

this is unrelated but I love the table. Source?
These look like the shoe racks from IKEA.
Like Raena, I have an IKEA cd storage that looks exactly like that.

Check this out - you could build your own by either stacking them or buying their doors and have a custom cabinet built.
it's definitely a CD shelf from IKEA. I had one and I can tell you that it wasn't that great in person.
You could use a series of wall mounted 12" deep Ikea kitchen cabinets. They are inexpensive and have a variety of striking door choices.
Keep in mind, cabinets shallower than 12" aren't particularly useful unless you know exactly what slim profile items (cds, dvds, figurines...) you will be storing in them.
It's from Ikea--CD/DVD storage--I have one and I love it. Unfortunately, they don't make it anymore. Maybe if we all write letters asking for them to rerelease it... :)
It kinda looks like LoadBearing's Mshelving...I have this and it's fantastic. You can customize it and they have all sorts of different color doors too.
I have that unit too, it's from Ikea. I believe it was from 2003/2004 and no longer manufacture it.
Yup. Ikea. I have 'em and love 'em!

The second picture - on the right represents the cabinet.
The picture you sent is NOT Ikea anything.
