Funny, to me, that on a site where pretention and conspicuous consumption are often vigorously attacked by the community, two posts today were about trying to emulate the interiors of spolied rotten TV characters.

...and if not, it would probably be a very easy sewing project once the OP finds washable yardage on the pattern/color she likes.

@patrick: Wow - I was just asking for information about a bedspread, not buying into a lifestyle. I didn't realize this site only allows decorating inspiration from pre-approved resources. Thanks for the warm welcome.

@ bepsf: I appreciate the constructive response. Unfortunately, I'm not very talented with dyi sewing projects which is why I was hoping to find out if the bedspread was something I could find in a store (and in my budget).

If you can't find anything similar, I'd suggest finding someone on Craigslist to make it for you. Just go find the fabric/w/e you'd need and ask. Or try Etsy's Alchemy area - post what you want, show the above pics, tell them you'll pay $X at the very most for it.

they come in different sizes. you don't have to get a case for them. i have a tiny one for very basic jobs. it was a gift from a real sewer, so i think it must be ideal for simple curtains and pillowcases.

That's why I phrased it in the form of a question.

Besides, I think the original question was about how to find the FABRIC.

I haven't seen that pattern before, but when I'm looking for something unusual, the first place I look is the fashion district in downtown LA. Even if you don't find that exact material, it's reasonable to suggest a trip could yield something similar.

(BTW, I squeeze a LOT of sewing equipment into my small home.)

It looks kinda like anthropologie or John Robshaw fabric.
Checked both sites...sorry no luck.

Duvet fabric is from silk trading company. It is called "poppea" and comes in the two colors shown in the series as well as others. I was lucky enough to find this info in another post. Not so lucky on the price tag. The beds were from a company called grace home. Hope this helps everyone who has been trying to create something similar and can actually afford it.

bluebeta: thanks for the update, you beat me to the punch. I also found the info on another blog and was sad to see the fabric is $195/yard - way out of my price range.
