Hello AT,
I like the way this 60" Acme unit looks but I have not been able to locate any place that would show me the unit physically. I have contacted all the usual stores and showrooms including (Acme, Summit, A. J. Madison, Kitchen Systems, Gringer & Sons, Bloom & Krup, plus Home Depot, Sears and other Manhattan stores and showrooms) but no one has a unit to show me. I also called the stores mentioned on your site the other day.
As it is rather an expensive and important purchase to make without being able to see it, I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or has a 60 inch unit that I might come and look at.
Thanks, Eileen

Dear Eileen,
We spoke to Acme and they said that they have one on display at Tarallo Distributors (1455 Union Post Road, Bronx, NY 718.931.3940). It is only the 48", but it will give you an idea of their craftsmanship and quality.
We were surprised that they had no other showrooms in the area, so we asked them about that. They said they sell most of their units in upstate NY where they are located. They have been around for 60 years, however, so they should be reliable.
If anyone else has one of these in NYC they could show Eileen that would we a great help. Anyone?

We have a lot of these all in one kitchens. Unfortunately, its a niche product and takes up a lot of room, so we do not put the larger units on Display. The acme units are pretty large. Additionally, the Acme units are extremely customizable. Our summit units are customizable as well.

To cover a kitchenette:
Suspend curtains or louver doors from the ceiling.
