Q: We have some horizontal wall space in the family/play room that I want to do something fun with for our toddler to enjoy. I want something interactive - that he can use and have fun and be creative with! We don't want to do the chalkboard paint thing but i've been thinking about mounting a butcher paper roll dispenser vertically and rolling paper out to be scribbled on. Have any readers tried this? I'm totally open to ideas, too and would love to hear about other fun interactive things people have done on the walls of playrooms.

Editor: Sounds like a fun idea, Sara! And with washable crayons and markers there would be little worry about marking up your wall. Readers - have you tried this or have other ideas for Sara?
