Good Questions: ReUse/Salvage Center in Boston?

I am originally from Minneapolis where we have the extremely fabulous ReUse Center which sells reclaimed building materials including cabinentry, flooring, fixtures, and much, much more. I live in Boston now and am looking for a similar place where I might be able to find vintage cabinents, chandelier parts, and more. Can you point me in the right direction? I've googled my fingers to death and haven't figured it out yet. Thanks! Megan

I live in Springfield -- fantastic buildings -- and know these businesses on Albany Street (Restore and Associated Building Wreckers) They are great. You'll find them easily from the Pike to 291. Might I also recommend our 4 wonderful second-hand stores. In South Amherst there is the Trading Post (second hand furniture).

If anyone reading this is from OKC, there is a great place that sells used hotel/restaurant furniture and equipment. Its located west of I-235 on NW 23rd.

They will haggle somewhat on prices depending on the item.

I've always wanted to check out Nor'East and then the last time I went to their website I read that they had a horrible, devastating fire which destroyed a lot of their fantastic inventory. Now I feel it's more important than ever to patronize this place, in the already hard financial times.
