Good Questions: Should I Recover These?

Good Questions: Should I Recover These?

Hello AT,

How much do you think these are worth? They're not by a name designer, but they're unique and cool. I'm trying to decide if they're worth the expense of recovering, and if I decide not to do that, how much they might be worth to a buyer/dealer.

Thanks, Maudie

Maudie, we have no idea what those would be worth to a buyer/dealer, but the pieces look like good solid stock and worth recovering if you like them. They ARE extremely unique looking. Personally, we think they'd be super nice recovered in a warm, soft twill or velvet. We would avoid large pattern and cool colors, which will clash with the warmth of the wood. If you are looking for some nice ideas, take a look at Depression Modern in SoHo and the new Restoration Hardware catalog, which has a very nice, warm neutral palette.
