Alexandre sent us an email: For a while now I've been thinking about getting rid of the last pieces of Ikea furniture in my apartment and also about adding more storage in my bedroom for when my girlfriend will move in. The lonely closet is fairly tight and definitely full already.

I have been eyeing the ISS Design shelving system but I'm slightly afraid of the full wall shelving and wonder if it's just going to darken the place too much or make it too busy. My options seem to be either getting wall shelving or a desk and chest of drawers. Yes, I also work from home and since I live in a 1 bedroom I do need a little desk in there. That wall in the bedroom has about 112-116" usable, and it's 11'4" high.

I figured the AT staff and readers would have some good insights. :)

Here are some photos of the place and a Sketchup model with an ISS Design pre-built model put in.

Thanks!

Please share your advice and opinion with Alexandre - would you suggest a shelving system or a desk and chest of drawers for this room?
