Q: I am redecorating our master bedroom (after over a year of non-stop work all around the house). I am really excited to *finally* be undertaking this project for its one of the last room that really needed attention, but it also means that almost all (if not all) of our decorating and improvement budget is spent already. We will be building a few things ourself, as well as using a lot of paint magic to transform the room into a black-gray-white with yellow accent cozy paradise.

I was lucky enough to be given a few things for my new house, including this armchair....

...that has been in my bedroom since we moved in. I liked its shape and its very comfortable and, with the old decor, it looked ok color-wise. Now that everything is going to be painted white, black or gray, im afraid the beige fabric with small red flowers wont feel at home in the new master bedroom.

I am looking for options to transform this chair. Slipcovers might work, though i think it might look too floppy considering the armchair has such a beautiful shape. Ideally, I would have it reupholstered, but im afraid its way over my budget right now. I would like to have ideas (on the cheap side if possible) of what I could do with my armchair...
