Target, believe it or not, has some nice ones. I found one that is very mod-century.

I used this service to print a custom shower curtain, it actually turned out quite nice! The image is a little fuzzy because of the fabric, but it looks and feels great!

My boyfriend and I just went through the debate of finding a shower curtain that suited both of our tastes. We finally just bought a plain white shower curtain and a 25 pack of sharpies and had all of our friends decorate it. The result was very colorful, fun and personal.

Also, depending on how funky you want to go, Urban Outfitters has some creative ones.

I scored a Marimekko shower curtain from Crate & Barrel outlet (http://www.crateandbarrel.com/Outlet/) for 20 bucks. I'd also check Unica (http://www.unicahome.com/c2115/shower-curtains.html) and CB2 (http://www.cb2.com/shower-curtains/bath/1). If you're budget is tight, however, Urban Outfitters has some really great choices, as other commenters have suggested. And I was pleasently surprised when I recently went into an Ace Hardware and saw their shower curtain offerings.

I second Target. They have a lot of more traditional curtains, but I've found some really nice stuff there. Mine right now is a Dwell curtain (big brown mod flowers - like Marrimeko) and I LOVE it. It was under $30. Check online if it's not in stores.
