Q: Attached is a pic (larger image below) of a Giant Buddha Head that i am very interested in buying. It was featured in Episode 610 of Color Splash on HGTV, but of course they don't list a source for it on their website. Any assistance that you, or your readers, could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Z2 iPod Dock and Wi...
I live in Toronto and I see things like that all the time at the Asian/Tibetan furniture and gift stores downtown. I don't know about any bigger stores that have anything like that, but if you have a local chinatown or Tibetan furniture stores, I would try there.
I've seen similar things at Ross, and I'm pretty sure at World market. Any "indie"ish place should have something similar
At one time, Bellacor, Overstock, and places like Home Decorators Collection all have carried them.
Google "Buddha Head." For this size, I'm guessing you will find it from an indoor/outdoor source.
That actual head is from Z Gallerie and is about $45 on their website!
Hope that Helps!
It's from Zgallerie and it's on sale for $44.95

And it's fabulous! I hope you get it.
I wonder if you could make an intable out of that... hrm...
Home Goods. Have them in every color.
I just saw them at Z Gallerie. I thought about buying one but opted not too.

That's easy. Just go buy it from the place that also sells oversize head busts of Jesus Christ and Mohammed for your garden.
Seriously, I don't understand why non-Buddhist practicioners think it's ok to put a religious icon in their backyard for aesthetic reasons
Daffy's in NYC had a bunch for under $20.
i agree with thomas
I don't see it specified anywhere that Colin isn't Buddhist.
I disagree with Thomas: put up all the religious iconography you like.
You could probably find it at Pier 1. Possibly Target.
Last time I went to Home Goods, they not only had giant Buddha heads, but a frog in lotus position and a giant squirrel dressed as a monk praying the rosary. It was kind of a surreal experience for 10 am on a Saturday.
i have one from CB2
Thanks all,
I just ordered one this morning. I knew i could count on you guys to know where i could get this!
For the record, I did search locally for this, first. Tried most of the places mentioned. None of them had it in the right size :-( or they were way out of my price range!
Keep up the great work all!
Colin
Hard to find busts of Mohammad, what with the whole images ban. And there's lots of art with Jesus, Moses, angels, etc. that are not objects of worship, ie icons.
Z Gallerie has a large selection of Buddhas -- from fountains to sculptures, to art and panels. http://search.zgallerie.com/search?keywords=buddha
Home Goods!! They have all sorts of buddah heads... I have this one from there: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_XDFZb0AEky4/SsYRCloe19I/AAAAAAAAAM4/lLmTDO7L99s/s1600-h/Picture 012.jpg
I worship food.
Does any1 know where to get the Jesus On the Cross Dart Board?
Thomas would not approve of my Pantheon. I have Buddhas, Hindu deities, Egyptian, Christian Pietas and saints... I'm a non-discrimantory nonbeliever, but the art that religions have produced is fascinating.
Ruh roh - so - even if I'm a buddhist, albeit a very lazy one, guess my wooden statue of a buddha (which is actually a cat in a classic buddha pose) means I'm creating some seriously bad karma... g!
If you look at AllSculptures.com they seem to have a Buddha bust that is pretty close:
