Hi Apartment Therapy! Any idea on who makes the chair on the left of this photo? Any ideas on finding similarly styled ones? Thanks! Meredith

Thanks for your question, Meredith. It reminds us of great schoolhouse style chairs or something we've seen in an old church. Anyone have a tip on this chair or something similar in style?

This looks pretty close to it. http://www.worthingtondirect.com/school_furniture/chairs/library_seating_by_smith_system.htm
I Googled "school chair metal" and got a few choices.
Sure looks like Herman Miller. Try Craigslist? I see a ton of these in MN and sell them at the shop for peanuts. Good Luck!
You can find actual school chairs on the street, for free, at the end of June.
I have four of those chairs. I'm curious, too, as to what they are. I bought mine off craigslist a few years ago. The original owners said they were from dwr, but I haven't found any info on them.
They're great because they stack and they're light, so they're easy extra party seating.
I happen to have more chairs than I need. Do you happen to be near portland, or?
Check out schooloutfitters.com. They have some great schoolhouse chairs at reasonable prices.
They look kind of like Heywood Wakefield chairs that the company manufactured for school use. They come up on eBay pretty regularly.
This site has some interesting stuff as well, might find some school chairs.
