Q: I'm wondering about a desk (larger photo below) I inherited from my Grandmother. It's pretty amazing. It's 63" long and 35" deep. It doesn't appear to have any markings on it, but given my Grandmother's taste and furniture tendencies, I'm pretty sure it's from the 1960s. Does anyone know anything about this desk? I've been thinking about selling it since it's so enormous, but I'm a little sentimental, too.

Wow! I don't have any info on the desk, but just wanted to say that it is absolutely amazing. I could go for a desk like that. Large workspace and 2 drawers, wow.
Something tells me you'll regret selling it. Someday, you'll have a larger space but won't have the desk. And it's really great-looking.
Don't sell it!
I agree, you'll regret selling it. You could use that as a desk, and when you entertain, as a buffet table.
What a gorgeous desk!!! Don't sell it!
Pretty cool. I agree that it looks mid-60s, wish I had more info for you. Maybe it could temporarily be repurposed until you have the right space. Of course if you don't love the desk, sell it and get something you adore. You have to live with it and it's a huge piece.
I agree with the other posters saying "don't sell it". It's the most fabulous desk I've ever seen, large, yes, but absolutely unique and and very much a showpiece.
I agree with Old Gray Mare, and want to add: if you cover it with a tablecloth, it can even be used for a dining table! So it's multipurpose (saves space).
