Q: Hello, hoping to enlist the help of the Apartment Therapy community. I am looking for an accent chair to finish my living room. Want to complete my orange and gray color scheme so looking for a chair similar to these found at West Elm and Crate and Barrel, but in orange. I have found ones that are $300+, but I was hoping to spend around $150 or less.

The Jake Chairs from Room and Board come in Orange! The big (adult) sized Jake chairs are a really great bright orange color. They also have kid sized Jake chairs (we have a set of 4 of these) but the kid sized Jake chairs come in an odd peachy orange.
Oh -- and I forgot the best part. The Jake Chairs are only $89 each!

IKEA also sells chairs like these. They are around $50. You can sand them a little bit and paint them orange. It's a bit of a DIY project...
Overstock.com used to sell chairs like this in orange, but when I looked I don't see them anymore.
West Elm has them on sale in a color called cinnabar.

I would try the local flea market! I go every couple of weeks, and see chairs like this in orange all the time. Even other vintage chairs with more personality in orange as well.
The best part is that you can walk away with a great piece for around $20.00
