Q: Hi, I fell in love with this sofa (and room) when it was posted on Apartment Therapy a little while ago. I have been looking for something similar since but haven't found anything quite as distinctive. I love that the rolled arms are small and not really round and that the back has more sharp lines as a contrast, plus the button tufting. It has a little 70's feel to it, I think.

If you can't find it, I wonder if you couldn't find something similar (in a thrift shop or other bargain location) and have it modified when reupholstered?
The shape of it looks exactly like a wing-style sofa my mom bought from Ethan Allen in 1970, only it had hideous "Colonial"-themed, faux tapestry cotton upholstery. This could be a similar vintage sofa reupholstered. So I think SherryBinNH is right; you're most likely to find something like this in a thrift shop and have it redone.
I love that raven print! Anyone one got a source on that?
I believe that this is a vintage sofa that has been reupholstered.
However, check out Lee Industries....they have several sofas that are "similar"...
You could always have the pillows "tufted"....

Check out the Rowe Fairmont, Harmon, Montrose, or Grant. Really good quality for the price. You may be able to request tufting on the back when you order. It's standard on some other styles.

I second the question about the raven print, in fact all that art looks amazing.
yeah, to hell with the chesterfield.. source on the raven print pls!
This place has the (almost) identical sofa that they will custom make with the fabric of your choice...from them or provided by you.
I believe what you are looking for would be the 8th down...
I would think that since these are custom made, you could send them the photo to duplicate the wider upholstered bottom and single row of tufting on the back.
It is worth a try.

I agree - Where can you get the raven print?
I love that sofa too, check with Former Furniture from time to time I did see one very similar back when this was posted. They have off the design mart showroom pieces and slightly used furniture.

Not exactly the same, but maybe similar enough?

Kind of pricy, though.

so much for the raven- those floor lamps are hot! Must be vintage also?!
Remove the arms and place it inside a train compartment and you're living on British Rail in the 50s, 60s and 70s!
