I'm new to NYC. Does anyone have any suggestions for places to buy holiday swags in NYC? Not gifts, but decorations. I've also been looking for Advent calendars.

Dear Sara,

Although we are not typical swag shoppers, we recommend the numerous "Paper House/Party Stores" around town. There is one on the upper west side just above 72nd street, and one at Jefferson Market on Greenwich Ave. Also:

  • Lighting Plus for tons of lights
  • for fresh evergreen Egan Acres Tree Farm delivers to the city
  • An online advent calendar from our site designer, Leslie Harpold

    We would also like to know where to find nice, modern advent calendars for the wall.
