Designer or Maker of Vintage Plywood Chairs?

Good Questions

Q: I found 2 of these molded plywood chairs in the early 90's in a shop in San Francisco. The shop owner thought that they had been made in the early 60's for a hotel lobby in SF. They appear to be mid century but I have yet find anything quite like them on them in catalogues or on the Internet.

The cushions were added by me and the dimensions are 32h x 29w x 29d. They are well made and I would like to restore them for my home, but would like to proceed with some sense of the original. Any leads on a designer/maker would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
