Good Questions: Textured Wall Panels at the Hudson?

Hello AT,

Does anyone know where I can find the wavy, textured wall panels similar to those found in the elevators at the Hudson Hotel? There is another example of these as the backwall of the Paiva women's sports clothing chain. I believe they're made of some sort of plastic, but they're so beautiful and soothing - I'd love to line my bathroom walls with them.

We recently used some for an installation at work, and they look great. However, be mindful of how the final edges will be finished. The panels stand out from the wall so if you are planning to butt the end up against something thicker, there is a chance that the ends will show. They are perfectly suited for a complete wall-to-wall application, covering an entire wall. Otherwise, it can get tricky.

I'd be worried about all those crevices collecting dust, which is ok for a commercial environment that can be cleaned daily. However personally I find the look very 80's Starck interior, but that's just IMHO.

The material for the wall look incredible on the jobs that I've seen. They have a number of styles on a web site from a company in Phila Pa, www.cuttingedgedoors.com there is a link on the home page to a showroom they have.

I have purchased it in small sheets and installed it myself also.

They can also wrap the panels in metal and woodgrain materials.
