Hey AT,
I have been searching high and low for a design-conscious yet practical calendar. I see so many that I love but they are not practical in terms of allowing me to use it (i.e., writing in dates, reminders, etc.). Can you point me in the right direction? I need a gorgeous calendar but one that also keeps one organized and forward thinking.
Cheers,
Joanna

Joanna,
That's an excellent question. We're fans of the Pentagram Calendar, but it works for us because we write down appointments and other reminders in our Filofax.
Holly at decor8 recently did a Calendar Round-Up. And Herman Yu's calendar is another to consider. It all depends, though, on how much writing space you need.
Suggestions, anyone?

If you can wait until next saturday, we just finished the 2007 calendar in a letter size format. On the top of each month there are 3 original paintings/photographs/digital art made by maria pirela from blueantstudio. Each day has its own box to write appointments and b-days and it will be totally free for you to download and print. Did I said it was free?
We will upload and post a link on our blog and make a permanent link on the side bar for the whole month of December and January.

You can't write on this one but it is gorgeous and forward thinking because you can use it year after year.

joel+maria,
That's a great calendar, thank you!
I wonder if you might consider adding holidays? I know, it clutters it up, but it sure makes planning easier!
