Good Questions: World Map Wallpaper?

Dear AT,
Has anyone seen or know where to find wallpaper of a world map? I know that Urban Outfitters used to sell something like this, but if anyone else knows other places that'd be appreciated. I would like to wallpaper one of my bedroom walls with either a map of the world or some sort of antique map design. All thoughts are appreciated.

There are a lot of options online, depending on your preferred size, style, color scheme, and how "antique" you want your map wallpaper/mural. One of the sites with the most to choose from is Metskers. A popular antique-style world map mural is the National Geographic one pictured above, which comes in three wallpaper-sized panels.

If you're willing to consider map wallpaper with more detailed imagery, we found this intriguing French paper sold by the roll.

Any other suggestions out there?

Pottery Barn Teen has a 12' X 6' world map wall mural in vibrant blues and greens. It comes with top and bottom rails so you don't have to adhere it to your wall. Great for the apartment dwellers out there, since you can take it with you when you move. And no worries about damaging the wall!

Why would you want to use wallpaper when you could get this: http://www.1worldglobes.com/alummural.html It would make your house look like a supervillian lair from a James Bond pic, particularly if you added one of those mini models of cities marked to show where the disaster will be planned ;-).
