I just bought an antique art deco rug in less than good condition. I'd like to get it cleaned and get the (smallish) holes patched. I don't want to do a complete restoration though because I don't think it's worth it. I'm also interested in scotchguarding or some other kind of stain resistant treatment but I don't know how well that would work on an older rug. Lastly, I'm interested in having the fringe removed and binding the edges all the way around.

Can anyone recommend good rug cleaning/binding places in Oakland or the Bay Area? Also, does anyone know how much these services are likely to cost? I would appreciate any advice.
