Hello AT,
Does anyone have experience with this dining table from Scan Furniture that folds down into a single drawer? It seems to be a great space-saving table for those of with little space in the home. How stable is it with just one of the leaves open? Does the drawer work well? Does anyone know of other similar space saving tables? Thanks, Mamamd

I feel like there were two posts about drop leaf tables just like this one recently.
We have one from Ikea that's great (and cheap). It has 3 (I think) drawers on either side of the middle section. We don't have the space to open both leaves at once, so I'd say only using one works just fine.
Gateleg tables have been around forever. I have one that I got at an antique store for maybe $50? Check craigslist, eBay, local antique stores, flea markets...
I've seen one in person. They only had the one leaf open and it was very stable. The draw slides very nicely as well. I posted some links in the last drop-leaf thread. It's made by a company called Skovby.
Here's the linkage

my boyfriend has this exact table, and it's amazing! the drawer works really well, and it's quite stable when only one leaf open. it's really well made, and a great piece for small spaces.
There are two threads on this already, one here about a month or so ago, and I think the other one was on ATLA.
wow, that table looks awesome!
Thanks everyone for your input. This does seem to be the Skovby table and now that I can see pictures of it with one leaf open, it looks quite stable. -Mamamd
