Good Questions: Decorating on the cheap in SF

Hi AT,

We are moving to a two-bedroom rental from a one-bedroom rental. We need a new dresser, night stands , bookshelves and all the works.

Which are the best thrift/antique stores in and around San Francisco to buy furniture. I am sending a couple of pictures - one of the bedroom and one of the living room. [pics after the jump]

Also, where can I find window panels (natural material only - silk, cotton, linen, bamboo) for cheap? Since I am renting, I do not want to spend a lot of money on them.
