ATDC reader Rachel needs our help:
Hi AT! I've been having a difficult time finding a round accent rug to fill up the space in front of my fireplace. I love the look of contemporary patterned rugs by designers like Thomas Paul (pictured) or Angela Adams, but they only offer round rugs in 8' sizes, which is way too big for the space I have. Any suggestions on finding something similar in a 4'-6' diameter would be much appreciated - thanks!...
Rachel,
Overstock.com has a selection of round rugs in contemporary patterns, though not anything that looks like the Thomas Paul one you posted. Ebay is another good resource for rugs, though be sure to stick with sellers that have decent feedback. Any other vendors to recommend to Rachel?

There are lots of resources online - simply Google "Modern Rug" for online retailers and search their product listings.
urban outfitters has some cute ones.
Anthropologie.....

This company has beautiful felt rugs, they are high quaility and price well. You can do custom colors and they are super nice, this is a local store in San Francisco-

Thanks to all for the suggestions! - I'm very excited to check them out after lots of time on google with nothing I'm that excited about. As a follow-up, has anyone ordered from scandinaviandesigncenter.com? My best option so far is this rug, but I'm a bit afraid of getting slammed with customs/duty after paying the shipping from overseas: http://www.scandinaviandesigncenter.com/Products/usd0/Carpets/Rugs/2410/Grow carpet&VariantId=3
Alternatively, any thoughts on where to get a laser-cut felt rug similar to this one from the (seemingly) now-defunct Brocade Home?:

A couple of Garnet Hill's rugs come in a round shape (even though the picture shows rectangular:

urbanoutfitters has some new smaller round rugs...a peakcock feather pattern and some others
brocade home is back online and they do have the laser cut rugs you are referring to.
also, fyi.... i called them this week to follow up on an old order that i never received and for the first time in about 3 months, someone actually returned my call. first of all, i spoke to a lovely woman who couldn't have been more helpful or apologetic. evidently, the company is under new management but since they were previously owned by restoration hardware up until a few weeks ago, there is little they can do about old orders. i had been calling for months and until this week, no one even answered the phone. anyway, the new owners are doing their best to help facilitate resolving old restoration hardware orders and it's obviously working as i rec'd a call yesterday from someone at restoration hardware....FINALLY!!!!!! i for one am happy as i do love their products and now that
my old order issue has been resolved will certainly be ordering from them again...hope this is helpful...
