Dear AT: I was hoping I could get some advice on how to apply an aluminum foil treatment on an interior wall? I saw this referenced in your article titled "Top 10 Affordable Wall Treatments," but haven't been able to track down any solid and reliable instructions. Any wisdom would greatly be appreciated. -Jennifer

No idea. But I like it.
Very Andy Warhol. I want to know how to do it too.
After doing many gold leafing jobs, I would advise you to use either gold leaf size or spray adhesive. Do a test run on a small piece of your wall or a piece of wood. After the foil is adhered burnish the foil a soft cloth. I prefer Rolco brand Aquasize Water-base Gold Size.
count me as #3 (4?) on the silver foil request....
heat? glue? more info please!!
I'd want to peel it to see if there's chocolate underneath.
LOL, btoddster!
Is the railing wrapped around with fabric?

I've seen aluminum foil squares and spray adhesive used on a ceiling before. Seriously. Just spray and stick. It looked great on TV. Depending on the wall, you could try it.
Spraypaint with shiny silver paint!!!
I bought one from homedepot, spray painted a wooden chair and it looks like it's been silver-leafed.
Hehe! My mother did this to make her mother very angry back in the 60's. Amazing!
Oh, I'm glad to find this spot on the internet. I got the spray adhesive yesterday, and i will start putting foil on the walls tonight. If i can find my way back here, I'll put pics up.
