Have you heard any reviews regarding the new Amy Coe rocker at Babies R Us?
Sorry, Cassie, we haven't. We scoured the web to find someone who has, but came up empty. The rocker and ottoman combo is currently on sale for $399 so we can see why you'd be curious. We like the modern look and stain resistant ultra suede, but wish there were more color options.

I finally got to see/sit in this rocker and ottoman combo yesterday at BRU. I expected for the price it to be cheap looking, poorly made or uncomfortable. I am very happy to report it was none of the above. Its a great chair and ottoman, its comfortable and it has a very tailored modern look to it with a nice controlled rocking motion. Plus the ottoman opens for storage! The only thing you might want to add is an extra lumbar pillow; it comes with one but since the back is so square I will probably add another. I cannot speak to how it will wear over time since the floor model was new but for the price I am willing to take a chance. A much more economical choice compared to Monte or some other modern options that are close to $1000 for the chair alone. We just went and checked this out in the store and were impressed enough to place an order for one right there (they didn't have any in stock). It seems to be pretty good construction and quite comfortable!
The benefit of ordering from the store is you don't have to pay shipping, and if you ever buy anything from BRU they'll give you a 15% off coupon, which we used.
We ordered the chair this week, and found it to be not the most comfortable option they had, but certainly one of the most attractive and fairly comfortable. I'd give it a 7 on a scale of 1-10 (comfort-wise). The only real issue I had was that the rocking motion isn't as easy to keep going as it is with a glider, and you really need to have your feet up on the ottoman to keep the rocking motion going. Other than that, it's beautiful and a great price.
JessicaB725, could you tell me which BRU you got the glider from? I've been looking for it and my local BRU had sold the last one and was not able to order it for me anymore as it has been discontinue.
