Good Questions: Bachelor Pad Chairs?

I found the room above done by interior designer Heather Clawson, and I would love the two chairs, but I can't find them anywhere! Do you know where I can find these or something similiar, or even what this style chair is called?? Thanks so much, Jason

Jason, those modern tufted armchairs are certainly handsome, but although we remember similar chairs, we can't seem to find ones that are exactly the same, with their angled backs and thin metal legs. Hopefully someone out there has seen or owns the same ones.

The major pieces in that vignette all appear to me to be vintage.

Consider the Jasper, Anson and Meade Chairs at Room and Board, the Petrie Chair at Crate and Barrel, or having something custom-made by a local upholstery shop.

The chairs are vintage. I think they are from the 1950's but I would have to check my files. I purchased them from Irwin Feld in CT, http://www.irwinfelddesign.com/, through 1stdibs. They were just described as club chairs.

I knew I wanted a pair of chairs so I searched on 1stdibs "pair of chairs" until I found a few styles that I liked that would work in the room. I showed them to my client and eventually we settled on those. The sofa is vintage C&B Italia and is very low so the chairs also had to be low and those complement it perfectly.
