There some affordable and stylish contact papers online via Amazon, our favourite being the various faux wood designs (the black toile is nice, but perhaps crosses over into the "matronly" realm?). The Container Store also carries some modern-simple designs, though we're not sure about the scented feature. And be sure to peruse the selection at Designyourwall.com. Though it's a bit over the top, the camouflage design is kinda keen, and they have various other designs, colours and metallic finishes to choose from. But perhaps the best place to start off is at Target...check out the lovely green "non-granny" design shown here.
