Funny, a year ago, there was a billboard off the expressway near my house that had the top half of this poster/photo and it'd freak me out at night. Especially because it didn't advertise anything. And when my bro and I were watching GG on Monday we couldn't believe it. If anyone knows what this is, please share, I'm so curious!

you could try looking at work by Anthony Gormley. You probably can't get an original (way expensive) but museums in the UK might do posters.

It's just a silhouette which is really easy to make on your own if you have or can borrow a projector.

Awesome find, but wanted to help you out before you spend $50. That's for the web resolution of 501 KB / 72 dpi / 4.5" x 7.5" / RGB. Great for just having on your computer but as a printed out image to hang is a different ball of wax. I work in the industry and for a digital image to print out without being obviously pixelated, the quality standard is at least 300 dpi (that one's 72 dpi). You could risk it and try to up-res in Photoshop, but it depends on the original scanned file (but i have serious doubts if you could do this, as then everyone would just buy the 72 dpi and up-res as opposed to buying the pricier 300 dpi). So unfortunately if you want to print and frame, to get a quality image, you'd have to go with at least the Med. Resolution, but that could only print up to image size 6.4" x 10.8" - any larger and that would start to pixelate pretty obviously. Just look at the size dimensions of the 300 dpi's listed and that's the maximum size they could be printed at in decent, non-pixelated quality. Sorry to be sucha Debbie Downer but didn't want to see you spend the 50 bucks and then be disappointed.

Lily's apartment is teeming with high-end contemporary art. I've spied an Elmgreen & Dragset (signage from their Prada Marfa installation), a Kiki Smith, and what I think is a Ryan McGinley photo (maybe Wolfgang Tillmans?)

Ooh.... I didn't spot the Hitchcock connection at all - I am an ignoramus. To my uneducated eyes, it looks simply like a trapped, scared woman. My first thought: why would you want a traumatized woman on your walls? Now I see the flim reference... but to be honest, it still feels subliminally violent and sexist to me. Can people really look at it and not automatically think about women who've been chased/trapped/scared? More generally, what's it like to live with art/decor that's deliberately provocative? Some great art is very disturbing -- what's it like to have this kind of thing in your home? Can you relax around it? If so, does that mean it isn't doing what it was meant to do (ie, provoke?)?

i think it's beautiful. the AMAZING decor rivals the clothing on this show. can we PLEASE have an article about the humphrey loft???? what would it take to get a house tour of that place?

I was also thinking that it'd be fairly easy to recreate. Don't pay $50 for a low quality image!
