Hi ATSF, I am in love with the couch in this photo, especially the color, but I can't seem to find one even close. Any chance you can determine who makes it? Thanks!

YES! That looks like the couch I have been DROOLING over!!!
Perfetto 100% Full Top Grain Leather
Really? That saddlebag arm style is very 80's and looks like something from Natuzzi, which you can still find on the retail level.
Most upholstery vendors offer that color leather on more contemporary styles, available through Crate&Barrel Furniture and the like.
It's your generic caramel-colored 80's style leather sofa - available every day on Craigslist or discount leather furniture stores.
Perhaps this is a repost from April 1?
My husband got his at the corner of Pacific & Grant late one night.
are you sure you posted the right photo
Looks kind of like this:

i'll pay YOU to come take the one I have outta my basement. I'll have to get your help moving some of the planks of pickled oak I have leftover from my kitchen remodel though..
Ha! I was gonna make a similar remark as those above, but now I feel bad for the backlash. I'm sure it is a very nice quality version of that 80s couch, and in it's credit it's not as cheaply slouchy as most... This is one style I can't get to liking.
good luck in your search!
Oy. We are all insufferable smart-ass design elitists. :)
I think 80s style is coming back. It's starting to show up in fashion magazines and clothing stores. Furniture can't be far behind.
Ahhh I knew I could count on you guys to set me straight. NOT! You all are not the first to tell me it's dated -- both my mother and best friend have tried to convince me of the same. Sorry, I'm unconvinceable and am in love with the beautiful color and more importantly how comfortable it looks.
Thank you very much to RedEngine88 and polkadot for your helpful links! RedEngine - I'm now drooling over the same couch. :-)
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what it feels like to realize your worst fears are coming true, and your parents' awful tastes are become the hot new retro.
Now, if you'll just accompany me to this bridge, we can get started with the jumping.
"how comfortable it looks"..........none of the dozens of couches like this that I have sat on (I lived through their first incarnation) was particularly comfortable. I know you don't want to be dissuaded, but at least make sure it's actually comfortable before you buy one. Good luck!
Here is a good question - When will the pet nonsense end?????
after a tough day at work, posts and responses like these make me smile. thanks to all for the playful criticism and to sarahbellum (very cute screen name) for knowing what you like.
How 'bout dem Cubs....
Now you understand us older folks - it is the way I feel about mid=century danish furniture. Hated it growing up and still hate it now - the couch in our house was so uncomfortable. Meanwhile, the 80's black leather couch with similar arms to this, I had to live with for almost 20 years WAS so ugly and yet so comfortable.
Sarah, I can certainly understand looking looking for a comfy sofa. That's one of my main criteria right now. It's one thing to have it look great but if it's in a room that you use all the time, you want it to feel good while you're watching a 2 or 3 hour movie too! Good luck in your search.
I have, however, been looking for that lamp!
