That looks a lot like Dornbracht's Tara. I have Tara sets in my kitchen, a bathroom, a shower... GREAT plumbing! (Expensive, but worth it.)

Gotta tell you- it may actually be a blessing in disguise that the faucet was sold out. I love RH as a style guide, but their fixture are typically overpriced and sometimes lacking in durability. I work for general contractor, and we are always trying to find attractive (and better made) alternatives to RH products.

My favorite resource is California Faucets (www.calfaucets.com). Their fixtures are high quality, high style... and very reasonably priced! The 6602 Widespread could be a very, very close match.

Shockthebourgeois, an employee at Waterworks told me that RH just repackages fixtures from a major supplier (from whom you can buy directly anyway), and I am not entirely certain, but it may have been California Faucets! But whether that is the correct name or not (it was a couple years ago), I agree that sometimes RH plumbing is not great quality. I purchased a faucet and shower set for a remodel, and returned it immeidately after it arrived. The indices for the faucet handels were stick-ons! (It was a copy of a Waterworks fixture, so I bought the Waterworks fixture instead... hence the conversation about RH.)

Maybe it's because my renovation projects have been smaller, but I've always picked fixtures and other items myself. When we built my bf's handicapped bathroom, we drove our 8x10 trailer to Home Depot and bought everything, from the pedestal sink to the shower enclosure. When I replaced the roof on my first house, the contractor and I went to Lowe's together and picked out the shingles. Given what I've read about other renovations, I thought this was the standard way to get things done.

Anyway, good luck! Sounds like you have a lot of options for finding those bath fixtures.

I agree with Kahnfucious-- the Danze Parma collection has a very similar design, and I can vouch for the quality.
We bought the same faucet and it is great.
I love the simple look, and its very substantial...not cheap.

I am an architect and use RH all of the time. Catalogue Sales is OFTEN out of stock on items...What you need to do is call the stores in your area (or beyond if that is what it takes. There is a complete list of their branch stores on the website...Just last month I found 6 towel bars that were out of stock at Cataloque Sales...I ended up getting them from 3 different stores...But it saved me from the rath of a difficult client, who was none the wiser. The other thing to remember about RH and PB is that they update their styles and things are often discontinued when you get around to buying them...Buy early or spend some time calling around the country!

efaucets.com. Customer service isn't so hot but they have a ton of options/brands and you can search by single hole, etc. Our contractor cautioned us against the IKEA one that I'd picked out. Plus I don't believe IKEA provides much if any of a warranty against leaks, but I could be wrong.

Why not go with the original instead of a knock-off? They are much better quality, and although more expensive, you will be more satisfied with them in the long run.

Just google the part number to find sources on the internet, or try to get a deal from a local stockist (I am sure that in this economy, bath & kitchen places are suffering and might be willing to give you a deal).

If you do want to go with a knock-off instead, there are so many, they should not be hard to find. Grohe Atrio is one such knock-off, and I know I've seen many others.

p.s. The Danza Parma is a knock-off of Boffi taps, and while I love the Chicago Faucet Company, who make top-quality taps, (I have their taps in my kitchen), they do not make anything that approximates the Tara.

I have both the Kohler Stillness and two Overstock faucet, one by Vilbosch and one by Kingston Brass. The quality of the Vilbosch is way superior to the Kohler (the KB is about the same) and was half the price

We had a great experience with smolka in nyc -- smolka.com. We bought all our grohe faucets from them and they look very similar.
