Dear Unplggd,
I just got a new 13" Macbook and I am overwhelmed by the choices to store it in. I want a simple sleeve that Icould tuck inside another bag. A pocket for the power cord would be a nice touch, but not crucial. I'm not looking for anything fancy or over-designed, just a simple monotone laptop sleeve. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Bill

Bill,
There's always an Incase neoprene laptop sleeve, but that doesn't give you the pocket you'd like.
Anyone have a simple laptop sleeve that they love?
Thanks for the question!

Perhaps you'd like BUILT's Cargo Laptop Sleeve. It has outer pockets to stash various items.

Bill, the laptop sleeves from Working Class Heroes are gorgeous and simple. I have an iPod case and personal pouch from them, and the construction and quality is impeccable.

I am a HUGE fan of Waterfield Designs sleeves available from sfbags.com
Totally customizable, padded enough but not bulky, and no zippers to scratch your casing....

good luck on your search!
I got a great one from Case Logic and it's reversible!
either of these case Logic sleeves seem to be what you are looking for (slim, light, with a pocket).

but in terms of style i'd have to second the rec for Working Class Heroes.
i have owned two sumo sleeves and love them:

I don't think you can get much simpler, plus they are heavily padded. I tend to be on the move quite a bit and the padding has saved my laptop more than once.
I'm going to throw in another vote for Waterfield Designs (sfbags.com). I got a vertical laptop sleeve with a flap with a piggyback pouch, which I use on its own or with my VertiGo bag (http://www.sfbags.com/products/vertigo/vertigo.htm). I also have bought a small iPod gear pouch, an iPhone smart case, and an iPhone Travel Case.
Their customer service is extraordinary, their products are well thought out and wear amazingly well (my laptop bag and pouch are 2 years old and still look like new), and the selection can't be beat.
