Eric would love some help sourcing unique architectural elements: Hi AT,
I want to add some architectural elements to my windows by installing some mouldings/trim around them. The problem is I cant seem to find any nice looking products online, just plain middle America styles. Can anyone help?
Thanks
Eric...

Does anyone have some ideas for Eric?

A great option if you are considering working with plaster: http://www.decoratorssupply.com/store/main.aspx?html=home
Has Eric done a Google search for "Architectural Mouldings" or "Architectural Millwork"
There's tons out there...
what about these...

sorry, "plain middle America styles"?
Go to Zaborski's in Kingston - you'll lose your mind.
Cool site Lucky, thanks. Not quite what im looking for but it's going in the bookmarks.
That took me aback to, matt in kc. Apparently, we're all Amish and/or Sears out here.
If you want simple, you could just get lattice strip at a lumberyard and piece different sizes together to create your own window trim. If you want just a little bit of a traditional touch, I'd just go to Dykes.
I had a window w/o any moulding (including no window sill) and bought a plantation shutter that came with a moulding kit.
Otherwise, in NYC I have bought moulding from Home Depot (it's special order but they have pretty good prices) and from Prince Lumber.
Try Moon River Chattel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is wonderful.
Try Olde Goode Things in NYC or www.sciotosalvage.com
I'll second Olde Goode Things -- on 24th Street, I think -- it's easy to get lost there just browsing
I saved this website awhile back:

They have every architectural and hardware product imaginable, and the prices look VERY reasonable.
Great site Traderdi thanks.
