If you want simple, you could just get lattice strip at a lumberyard and piece different sizes together to create your own window trim. If you want just a little bit of a traditional touch, I'd just go to Dykes.

I had a window w/o any moulding (including no window sill) and bought a plantation shutter that came with a moulding kit.

Otherwise, in NYC I have bought moulding from Home Depot (it's special order but they have pretty good prices) and from Prince Lumber.

Try Moon River Chattel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is wonderful.
