Hi There, I would be very grateful if any of your readers can point me where to pick this round table/shelf in the new york city area or online. Thanks for your help. Kenny.

It's an IKEA side table. I have it at home...I'm not sure what the name is, but it's a tray table. :-)
my thoughts exactly, ikea.
Why the green circle? There's only one table in the picture...
Here is a similar table from IKEA -

There is another similar table from IKEA for a little cheaper

The trouble with photo shoots is that lots of times that stuff comes from Rental Prop houses and it's harder to find it in real life. I've worked on a shoot where that table was used.
If you are desperate to own that one I do know that the companies that I work with use these prop houses on a regular basis.
Maybe check with them. Or just get the addresses and go there if you are in NY. They may not give you the info over the phone.

Looks like it might not be available anymore.
Oh, and there is a vaguely similar Alessi one - http://www.lumens.com/lumens/product.asp?dept_id=6973&pf_id=PAAAAAENFBFDNEDG&ad_id=froogle&key_id=Op-laTrayTablebyAlessi&utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=cpc&
Hmm, I'm not sure what the confusion is in the replies, but this is absolutely, definitely, 100% from IKEA. The name is VENJAN. It is no longer on their website, but may still be in the stores.
Be aware that trays are made of a rubberized plastic, and the frame has that weird, cheap-looking silvery-gray coating that IKEA has been phasing out recently.
yes, this was from ikea. but they haven't carried it for a while now. unfortunately.
