"Hi, I found this bookcase featured in Domino Magazine's tour of Ashley Whittaker's apartment. I would really love to know where I can get one just like it! Many thanks, Martin"

Martin, this looks like a piece from the Jonathan Adler lacquer collection — but the shelves are no longer offered. Williamsburg shop Golden Calf carries a variety of lacquer tables and they may be able to order a shelving system for you.
Does anyone else have any suggestions for Martin?

Call a local carpenter/furniture maker and have one made for you.
I was going to say Adler too but I think this piece was painted over. Bungalow8 makes similar stuff.
Snoopy - I thought Bungalow8 was a nightclub?
CB2 makes shelves very similar to those in orange and silver metal.
the IKEA Lack selves are very similar except that they have solid sides (and the open backs). And they are easily painted over if you don't like their selection of wood colors, white, pink or black...
How about that pink bolster? Any leads on that fabric, by chance?
i think the bolster is John Robshaw. Check his website.
bepsf, I stand corrected. It's bungalow5 (the furniture company).
You have to register just to view anything on the Bungalow5 website? That's really irritating.
i do like that shelf a lot, i agree you could get a lack shelf from ikea and paint it the pale blue..
or these ones from target are similar with it being open, just needs a coat of paint:
