Dear AT, Is there a way that consumers can shop at the wholesale flower markets in the Flower District? I saw these carnation arrangements in December Martha Stewart Living that I would like to make for my party. Carnations have a bad reputation, the deli flower of NYC, but these arrangements are just what I was looking for. I have a hard time coming up with flowers that will compliment my old, clear Fostoria china. I just need to figure out how to get tons of perfect, richly colored carnations. Thanks, Chris We have shopped in the flower district on 28th street in the mornings and found that they will sell to strangers as long as the you aren't buying one flower. If you want a big bunch, that's fine and if you want to belong to a company, use your business card and just go for it. We suggest walking the strip off of Broadway going west and doing it in the morning between 7-8am. (Thanks, Chris, and sorry we didn't get to this sooner!) MGR
