Good Questions:A Good Upholstery Cleaner?

And now a question from AT:LA reader CT: Can you recommend an upholstery cleaner near Los Feliz? We have a really cool '40s vintage love seat in some amazing turquoise jacquard fabric. Unfortunately, our cat just barfed a hair ball on it (YUCK) and when I tried to clean it, it left a giant water stain on the cushion. I'd love recommendations for someone who can come to our house and clean it... Ideas? Hey CT. So you have a barfy cat couch? Bummer. But we have two recommendations for you: Zero Rez, which will come to your house and clean your upholstery for you. They use non-toxic cleaning agents (no mucky detergents or shampoos)...Or if you are looking for a more mom-and-pop kinda shop, try Delta Chem Dry. We've used them for carpet cleaning, but not upholstery, so you might want to check and see if they can do it...they serve San Fernando Valley and even the westside. Like Zero Rez, they are non-toxic, and as an added bonus? They specialize in water damage clean-up and quick-drying. Anyone else have any recommendations?
