Probably the best thing about AT is the variety of comments the questions raise. There are certainly plenty of opinions and advice in this crowd. You're sure to find something that works.

I just bought my first house recently its an old house from 1931, its painted a pale green. I thought I wanted to change it and choose a new color. But when I was talking to neighbors at a garage sale a woman who lived in the neighborhood since she was a child (in the 1950s) said 'the house has always been green' ... so I'm keeping it how it is. I plan to update the trim, but I want to maintain the history of the house. Maybe this doesnt help - but its just my personal house painting story.
