The illustration above is from artist Antony Hare. His work is at the meeting point between portraiture and caricature and we just love it. Click through the jump for more on this great artist and the fantastic work he produces.
Antony Hare is a freelance illustrator whose work has appeared in publications including Chatelaine, Esquire UK, Maisonneuve, Forbes, Annabelle Mann, The Improper Bostonian, Bon Appétit, the Globe and Mail, and National Post (for which he won a Silver Medal from the Society of News Design).
Antony is seen here in his studio space. From his drawing table, to the fresh flowers, to the bookshelves piled high with inspiration we love it all. You can also watch his illustration process as he draws the image of Ansel Adams in a video on YouTube.
You can read more about Antony from his blog (updated once a week or so until Fall), or find him on his website and even Flickr. Best of all, you can purchase artwork from Antony. His store allows you to chose the format you would like your work done in (watercolor paper, canvas, photo print) and even the colors!
