OOOO! Anyone know the source for the lamps in the first photo?
love all these too!
especially the one with the big doggie sprawled out on the floor. :)
I 2nd that - where are those gorgeous silver lamps from??
Wow, the one with the spiral stairs. WANT. (of course, moving things UP said stairs would be awful beyond words, but still)
Green and grey (and some gold sometimes) are my favorite color combination of all time. LOVE that first pic--fills my psychological lungs, if that makes sense. I'm like Sarah, Plain and Tall: "Blue, Green, Grey -- the colors of the sea"
My husabnd and I are painting our walls a dark, inky charcoal gray color -- thank you for the inspiration photos!
I am curently in love with Pottery Barn's new color of gray velvet called "Chrome."
@diyordie That was a good book. Did you ever read "The Shipping News"?
Our house is painted shades of gray. Our couch is a greenish blue, and I've done accessories in blues and greens. I like the cool pallette, but can't shake the feeling of needing a shot of color here and there. Any suggestions? I'm not crazy about yellow or red (at least in their primary states), otherwise I'm open.
I have a similar palette in my living room, with a few accents in a crimson - a deep, dark, rich red. It works for me.
If only grey paint wasn't so impossible to choose!
I know, right?! I just spent a month picking a grey paint. I ended up with four different greys painted in patches all over the room. And you know what? I ended up with the first one I tried.
Since I have to drive 35 miles to buy Aura paint, I bought samples at Lowe's which is only about a mile away. In the end I chose Polished Silver, a Valspar color, and then had it matched in Aura. It really is a nice cool silvery grey, has a classic feel about it.
