Better than "me", not "I". I'm not a star on Greek philosophers, but I'm solid on grammar.
Actually, either is correct. The full clause following "than" here ("I am") is elided, which is pretty typical. While I no longer consider myself a grammarian, I do prefer the construction than nominative case pronoun.
